**Update

Brian just got off of the phone with his dad and he said that they ended up amputating his pinky toe and most of the toe next to it. It seems like they got the infection out, but are going to run labs in the coming days to make sure. They are looking at next Tuesday for a discharge date. He is getting a PICC line inserted today so that he can continue his antibiotics at home.
