How funny that Anitra, the teacher, was teaching the picking! Oh man, Anitra, I will just say sorry now, but your facial expressions kill me! I am crying from laughing as I type this!! The left one looks like she has a half finger and is picking her teeth...and the concentration on the bottom right....oh man!!!
Needless to say, we had soooo much fun!!! And yes, we are weird and dorky, but we are weird together and we still all love each other very much, even though we are dorks!! Ha ha!!
Oh yes, one of the funiest moments...who knows how we sunk to this level...of teaching the children how to "pick their noses"! I truly have a unique family, but it was just too hilarious not to post! See Janae at first was doing like the pic on the right...so Anitra stepped in and was showing her how to "really" do it! I'm afraid this will get taught to someone on Janae's bus route! he he
The girls did sand art and it turned out great! There was paint and sand and GLITTER!! Yes, lots of glitter! The plane in the middle is especially for Quinn! He loves planes and I thought he would like this pic!
For Valentine's Day/Brenna's birthday get-a-way, we headed to Pokagon State Park. Brenna picked Pokagon because she loves their craft room! It makes for a nice weekend away during the winter! The girls and I went down to go swimming...we were all quite silly after our pizza party in our room! The girls like doing "gymnastics" in the pool. Basically, them standing on my legs and sticking their arms up! :)
Isn't he adorable?! Anitra took Ty to get his one year pics and getting this kid to stay still for pictures, or anything for that matter, is next to impossible!! So, you can see where Anitra is grabbing his sleeve to hold him in place! HA!! I could probably put up 50 pictures that I have of Ty where I have 1/2 of his face, or an arm or a foot and sometimes I completely miss him! He is a fast little goober!! Anyway, a cute goober! I guess we'll keep him!
Last Sunday was Adria's dedication at church. Isn't she such a doll? She was such a good baby the entire time, like usual. She was really enjoying the ceiling fan at the church! During the dedication, they put up a picture of the baby along with their name. April used a picture that I took of Adria, and I was going to post it, but it says her full name on the screen and this would not be good internet safety according to Leah. :) So....that one was left out!
Stay warm....it's 23 below zero here with the wind chill! bbrrrrr!!!
How CUTE are these pictures??? Senica wanted to have her picture taken with Mia! Senica climbed right up on Mia and then realized she was wet! She wasn't quite sure what to think, but on the way home, she thought she was so cool and wanted to see the pictures on my camera of her and Mia! She didn't want to wait to see them...what did we do before digital cameras? ;)
Here is some shots of Mia's cheering section. Isn't that shirt Senica has on soooo cute?? If you can't see it, it says Goshen Redskins. On the back it says ADDI. ha! Well, when my cousin Kent (in the Puma) shirt went to state for football in '82 (I think)...Mom made me this shirt. Somehow, through all these years, it hasn't gotten lost. Anyway...it was so cute on Senica, we had to have her show her Redskin Pride! :)
Friday night Senica came over and spent the night. Saturday Anitra was going to the Bethel basketball game and I was going to Mia's swim meet. Senica got to pick where she wanted to go...guess what lucky aunt got to spend the day with Senica? :)
As you can see by the pictures...Mia rocks! :) The pics...top left, beginning of race...right....end of race...scoreboad and CHAMPION podium! Whooo Hoooo!
Today is one of my very best friends birthday's!! :) I met Jonathan through church a few years ago, although it feels like I have known him forever! He is really part of our family now! As you can see in the pictures, he is at most family events...mom's birthday to play cards (top right), camping this summer on the right, mini-golf in plymouth, wedding reception bottom, middle hanging out with Janae and Adria. Happy Birthday Jonathan, we love you!
