A day at the Park

Saturday was sunny and gorgeous! A great day for baseball!! Seth had a double-header at home and they won both! Now the team is 8-0 at home! Whoo hooo! :)

Kristi and Savannah came to the game along with Kristi's brother Alex, who was here on Spring Break. I asked Seth if it would be ok for Alex to sit in the dugout since he didn't get to go anywhere nice and warm for his break and Seth said that was fine. You can see Alex (in the red fleece) giving hi-fives to the players. The players were so nice to him and made him feel really like part of them for the day! :)

Seth's brother, Ethan, was here for the games too. I love the picture of him and the kids...too cute!

Boy's night/Girl's night

Last night some guys got together to go to the ND Hockey game. The ladies headed over to the Grassman's house! We had salad, yummy lasagna, and rice krispie bars! For once, Senica was out numbered by all the boys!! We missed baby Addie, oh and you too Stacy! ;) Thanks Sarah for hosting!

Sorry Matt...another post, but how cute are your boys?? :)

Picture Time!

Saturday morning I headed over to Jessica and Corey's house to take some pictures of Ethan. Isn't his little giraffe outfit so cute? I really enjoyed getting to take pictures of him! He's such a cutie!

After I went and took Ethan's pictures, I picked up Brian at home and we headed to North Webster to take engagement pictures for Andrew and Katie. Katie's parents have a house on the lake and that is where they are getting married next June! We also went and took some pictures where they are having their reception. It's this beautiful place that overlooks the lake. We are so excited and happy for them! We love you guys!

When we were done taking Andrew and Katie's pictures, we headed over to April's house. Anitra, Seth, Senica and Ty came to Syracuse too and we all met at the church down the road from them for a fish fry! It was delicious and the kids did really good behaving while we ate. From there, we went to the Syracuse Community Center for the Fall Carnival. They had games for the kids, a cake walk and a costume contest. None of our kids won in the costume contest, although I think they should have! :) While I was taking pictures of the kids, the lady in charge asked me if I was from the paper. I told her no and that I was just the proud aunt! :) Well, the paper was supposed to come and they never showed up, so she asked me if I would take pictures of the contest winners. So, keep an eye out in the Mail Journal. You might see some of my pictures in there! :)

It was a really busy day, but I am so thankful to be able to spend the day with my family and friends! :)

Parents night out

Saturday night was parents night out and it was Anitra and Seth's turn to watch the kids. Peggy came over and helped and she made DELICIOUS pumpkin muffins. YUM! So, Anitra had watched Adria so that April and I could go shopping in Michigan City and when we got back, Ethan and Luke had been dropped off and their mommy's and daddy's were out on their dates! :) It seems like I got a picture of everyone with food on their face except for Luke. They were all good and I think the parents enjoyed their dates. :)

Lazy Weekend

This past Saturday, the plan was to stay home and just watch ND football. I wasn't feeling so well and didn't wake up until 11:30am! Then, I laid back down and napped from 2-6pm!!

Sunday, I woke up with an awful ear ache!! YUK! At church Anitra said it would be a great day for a puzzle, so Brian and I had Peggy, Corey, Jessica and Ethan come over. Of course, Anitra, Seth and the kids came too! The guys watched Sunday football in the basement and the ladies did a puzzle and talked. It was so much fun! I love when our friends come over!! Brian grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and it was yummy. Peggy made cookies and they were yummy too and Jessica brought over a casserole that was DELICIOUS! It was pouring rain outside but inside we had a great day!

Isn't Ethan getting so big?? Senica loves holding babies! She is such a good helper/babysitter. :)

Day of rest?

Today was Grandparents Day and Senica sang up front at church, so Mom and Bobby and Marty, Joyce, Ethan, Maddie and Aunt Cecil came to watch her.

It was a busy day...I started my new post at the Welcome Cart for when people drop off their kids for Sunday School and Church. I also wanted to get some pictures of all of our friends who dedicated their babies today, so I went into church to take pictures...then I ran upstairs and did a drama with Anitra for the 3, 4 and 5 year-olds where I played an artist! HA!! Me an artist...I think not! Our lesson was on creation and how God made everything and how we can take care of what God created. It was a great lesson and I think the kids liked it!

After church Mom and Bobby picked up some chicken from Martin's and we all headed down to the river walk for lunch. It was such a beautiful day and it is so pretty down there!! Then we went over to the open house for the new Townhouses they are building...WAY out of our price range, and Brian said if we even spend that much money on a home, it's gonna have some kind of yard be on a body of water where he can put a boat! Ahhh...dreams! :) After that, we headed home so I could lay down and rest for about an hour and wake up just in time to see the Cubs blow it in the 9th! Grrr...I should have stayed asleep!! Then Senica and Ty came down and Brian and I watched them so Anitra and Seth could go to Bethel to the Hall Of Fame banquet...they left at 9:30!

I had to tell Anitra they had to leave because I needed to get my Sunday night blogging in!! :)

Senior Pics

Today, we rode down with Anitra, Seth and the kids to take some Senior pictures for Ethan.

We started the day at the ballfields getting some pics of Ethan in his uniforms and he wasn't so excited to be having his picture taken, but by the end of the day, he was changing into more outfits (10 total) and suggesting where we should take the next shot. :)

It was a fun day, and of course, Ethan is so photogenic, it's hard to pick a favorite!

After pictures, Joyce had a nice dinner for us, complete with ice cream cake. YUM! And to exercise off the nice big meal...Wii bowling!

We had a great time tonight! Thanks Ethan for thinking of me to take your pictures...I have fun!
